Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your hourly rate for a bartender?
Our bartenders are currently $30 an hour.
What is the rate for the premium package?
We provide the premium package for $2.20 a person in addition to the rate of the bartender.
How does the premium pricing work?
We include mixers, cups, napkins, stirrers and garnishes for what comes down to $2.20 a person for your event. If you are expecting 100 guests, we will bring enough to keep things going for the entirety of the event for $220 plus the rate of the bartender.
This is a great option because all you have to worry about is supplying the alcohol.
Do you have margarita machines or blenders?
We do not bring any appliances with us. Our bartenders will be equipped with bartending tools and can utilize an appliance if you make it available.
In general you will need about a pound of ice per person to have enough for icing down beer and wine and have enough to put in cocktails.
Our bartenders dress according to the formality of your event. Whether it is banquet style formality or a casual house party, just let us know and we will dress accordingly.
We do not currently have insurance and part of the terms of service when hiring a bartender is a liability waiver. We maintain responsible service and will do everything necessary to ensure your guests have a safe, responsible time.
We are licensed to do business in the capacity that we serve. All of our bartenders are TABC certified. We do not buy and sell alcohol and so we do not need a liquor license to serve your alcohol at your event.
We can neither purchase nor deliver any alcohol on your behalf. We can, however, provide you with consultation so that you can make adequate purchases in preparation for your event.
Because we do not buy or sell alcohol we cannot legally operate a cash bar.
We will serve non alcoholic drinks and "mocktails" to your underage guests and we comply with TABC regulations concerning the service to minors.
Where do your bartenders come from?
All of our bartenders are experienced bartenders who typically also work a regular bartending job in addition to working with us. All bartenders initially apply and the best are picked out and vetted by owner, Asher Mains. Typically they will do an event or two while training with another bartender so by the time we send them out to you they will have made it through several filters so we know we are offering you the best we can! All of our bartenders are currently TABC certified.
We do not provide glassware but with the dry and premium packages we offer plasticware.
How many bartenders do I need?
One bartender can quickly and efficiently serve 100 guests. If your event is much bigger than this, you may want to consider having more bartenders.
Can your servers help with food service?
Yes, we also provide servers that can either help with beverage service or service of the food you have available. Just let us know how best we can meet your needs.
